Gregory Stork and Justin Wolfe are the Principal Engineers and founders of Stork, Wolfe & Associates – Structural Engineers. Together they have extensive and complementing experience in a broad range of structural design and analysis.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
After graduating from the Cornell University in 1997, Gregory Stork moved to San Francisco where he worked for R.P. Gallagher Associates. Projects included several seismic retrofits including non-ductile concrete buildings and several unreinforced masonry structures. He also performed several non-linear static pushover analyses using the criteria of FEMA 356.

After five years of working with existing structures, Mr. Stork began working for KPFF in San Francisco to broaden his exposure to new design projects. These projects included both commercial buildings and hospitals.

In 2003, Mr. Stork, a native of San Luis Obispo, moved back to the Central Coast to raise his family. He worked remotely for Howard Structural Group’s Carpinteria office before opening and running their San Luis Obispo office in 2006, providing engineering services to their Central Coast clients. Mr. Stork has extensive experience designing seismic retrofits for several historic buildings in the Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo area, including the 9-story Granada Theater and Tower, and the City of Santa Barbara Fire Station No.1. His experience also includes several performing arts structures, several high-end custom homes, and commercial buildings constructed of all materials.

Currently Mr. Stork is a Co-Principal for Stork, Wolfe & Associates, a Structural Engineering firm located in San Luis Obispo.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

After graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997, Justin Wolfe moved to his hometown of San Luis Obispo, California, where he worked for Omni Design Group as a Junior Engineer. Projects included residential, commercial, and cellular site projects.

After three successful years in San Luis Obispo, Mr. Wolfe moved to the Santa Barbara area and joined Howard and Van Sande Structural Consultants, Inc., as a Project Engineer. Projects included peer review of University structures, high-end residential including seismic retrofits and remodels, public and government buildings as well as seismic upgrades for unreinforced masonry structures.

After four years in the Santa Barbara office, Justin moved back to the San Luis Obispo area to raise his family. Mr. Wolfe joined Allshouse Engineering of Pismo Beach, California where he worked as Project Engineer. Duties included training junior engineers, procuring projects, office development, and various day-to-day business applications. Design projects included residential, commercial, and mixed-use structures throughout the state of California.

Currently Mr. Wolfe is a Co-Principal for Stork, Wolfe & Associates, a Structural Engineering firm located in San Luis Obispo.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
After graduating from the University of Illinois in 1959, William Hanna moved his family to California where he worked for structural consulting firms in Pasadena and Sherman Oaks. He was transferred to the Santa Barbara area 1964 where he worked as project structural engineer for two engineering and architectural firms. Projects included commercial buildings, schools, public and government buildings, as well as residential projects.

Mr. Hanna started his own consulting structural engineering firm in 1974 in Santa Barbara. His practice included schools, hospital modifications, commercial, institutional and governmental projects over a 12 year period. He took a position at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in the mid-1980's as their staff principal engineer for eleven years.

Shortly after retiring from UCSB, he joined Howard and Van Sande Structural Consultants, Inc. Bill Hanna left Howard and Van Sande when Lynn Howard started Howard Structural Group in 2005. At Howard Structural Group and Howard and Van Sande, Mr. Hanna was project manager for many projects including the Goleta Union School District and Vandenberg Air Force Base, along with several UCSB projects.

After the closure of Howard Structural Group, Mr. Hanna began working as a senior engineer with Stork, Wolfe & Associates utilizing his extensive experience with DSA projects and UC campus projects.
